This position is responsible for the engineering group
that supports the HIM line of drives development,
applications and manufacturing to achieve a drive line
that is a leader in our industry. This will include:
Managing a group of Engineers, Technicians and Drafting
Professionals. Designing, developing and managing new
product design in line with specific customer
requirements. Providing product support as required.
Managing department budget. Producing various management
reports to outline departmental activities. Interfacing
with various operations and engineering groups across
the company. BS Degree in Engineering. Minimum 10 years
experience in the design and applications of VSD's, with
5 years experience in a management role. Knowledge of
VSD's as applied with ERP/MRP systems. Knowledge of
electrical power systems. |

Engineering Technician |

Successful incumbent will conduct engineering research
and development testing, prototype assembly,
troubleshooting and repairs. Assemble/disassemble
prototypes, conduct testing and collect test data.
Perform routine maintenance on test equipment and
systems. Ability to manage priorities, and complete
projects with minimum instruction. Basic computer skills
with Microsoft Office skills. Forklift experience a
plus. Technically oriented degree preferred but not
required. Persons with basic to middle level experience
in Mechanical, and/or Electrical type work would do well
in this environment. |

Sr. Quality Engineer-Motor & MLE Products |

Successful candidate will be responsible for the quality
within the Motor and Motor Lead Cable extension
manufacturing process. Provides support in a
manufacturing process with medium to low volume product
flow, but a high degree of complexity and significant
technical requirements. Strong communication skills,
technical background and ability to identify
opportunities to improve processes and quality system.
Must have a minimum 5 years, hands on experience with
manufacturing process design, troubleshooting, control
and improvement experience with motor manufacturing and
design being preferable. Knowledge of Six Sigma tools
approach is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate skill
in auditing and critically analyzing a wide variety of
manufacturing processes with a focus on high reliability
and quality control. Must have past experience
evaluating Quality Control plans and using prints,
drawings, specifications, etc. to assure that all the
requisite controls are in place to generate a high
quality product. Experience in assessing a broad range
of processes is required. Bachelor's degree required
preferred Engineering, Quality or related field. Must be
familiar with short-run process capability analysis and
control, and associated management tools. Multi-language
is a plus. Will require travel to outside
inspection/test facilities or training support
activities. |
